Terms of sale

Flare Craft Fire Cider, made at 20 Roy Blvd Unit 34, Brantford, Ontario N3R 7K2. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

You collect your order from Our Kitchen Brantford at a time we set with you by email. We don't ship, because raw vinegar tonic doesn't travel well in a box.

If you need it brought to you, email us and we'll arrange it with you directly. It isn't something you can buy through the site.

• Every price is in Canadian dollars.
• The price you see is the price you pay. No sales tax is added at checkout.
• Buy 2 or more single bottles and each one is $20, with no code needed. Bundles already have their own price.
• A promo code, when you have one, replaces that deal if it takes more off. You get one or the other, never both, and the checkout shows which before you pay.
• Prices can change, but never on an order you've already placed.

We make small batches, so a blend can run out. When one has, the site tells you before you pay and gives you the wait, currently about 8 weeks, which is how long a batch takes to steep. If a batch runs late, we'll email you the new date.

If a bottle arrives broken or isn't the blend you ordered, email us within 14 days and we'll replace it. All other sales are final.

Fire cider is a food: raw apple cider vinegar steeped with vegetables, roots, herbs and spices. It isn't a medicine or a supplement, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you're pregnant, on medication or managing a condition, check with a doctor or pharmacist first.

We read every review before it goes up. We don't publish one that's abusive, names someone without their permission, isn't about the product, or makes a health claim. We don't remove a review for being negative. Posting one lets us show it on the site under the name you gave.

The words, images and design are ours, except the old plates and the 1748 scan on the Four Thieves page, which are in the public domain. You're welcome to quote and link to them, but not to copy them to sell something.

If a price or stock level is clearly a mistake, we'll tell you before we charge you rather than hold you to it.

Ontario law governs these terms. Nothing here takes away your rights under Ontario or Canadian consumer protection law.
