Short, since there isn't much to it. You buy a bottle, you collect it in Brantford, and if something's wrong we make it right.

Flare Craft Fire Cider, hand-bottled at 20 Roy Blvd Unit 34, Brantford, Ontario N3R 7K2. Placing an order means you accept what's on this page. If you don't, don't place the order, and if a line here seems wrong to you, write to us about it before you buy.
Checkout is collection only. You order on the site and pick the bottles up from our kitchen in Brantford at the time on your confirmation. There's no shipping option and no courier, on purpose. We're not willing to put a bottle of raw vinegar tonic in a cardboard box in July and hope.
If you need it brought to you, email us and we'll sort something out directly. That's an arrangement between us, not a thing you can buy through the site.
Everything's made in small batches by two people, so a blend runs out. When one does, the site says so before you buy and tells you the wait, currently about 8 weeks. That's how long the steep takes. It's a real wait for a real reason, not a shipping estimate with padding in it.
If a batch slips past what we told you, we'll email you rather than let you find out by waiting, and you can have your money back at that point with no argument.
Write to us inside 14 days and we'll refund a bottle that arrived broken, arrived wrong, or that you ordered and never collected. The money goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and takes a few business days to show up.
We can't take back a bottle that's been opened. That's food safety rather than fine print, since an opened bottle of raw tonic can't be sold to anyone else. If you opened it and something is genuinely wrong with it, tell us anyway. We'd rather hear about a bad bottle than protect ourselves from you.
Fire cider is a food. It's raw apple cider vinegar steeped with vegetables, roots, herbs and spices, and we sell it for how it tastes. It isn't a medicine, it isn't a supplement, and it isn't a treatment for anything.
Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you're pregnant, on medication, or managing a condition, ask a doctor or a pharmacist before you add a strong acidic tonic to your day. Take that as a real suggestion rather than a disclaimer.
We read every review before it appears. We won't publish one that's abusive, names somebody who didn't ask to be named, clearly isn't about the product, or makes a health claim we're not allowed to publish. We won't take one down for being unkind about the cider. That's what reviews are for.
Posting a review gives us permission to show it on the site, under the name you typed.
The words, photographs and design here are ours. Read them, quote them, link to them. Just don't lift them wholesale for something you're selling.
We keep the site accurate and running, but we can't promise it'll never be wrong or never be down. Where a price or a stock figure is obviously an error, we'll tell you before we take your money instead of holding you to it.
Ontario law governs these terms and Ontario courts settle anything arising from them. Nothing here removes a right you have under Ontario or Canadian consumer protection law. Those rights sit above this page, not under it.
What we do with the information you give us is on the privacy page.
