What's In The Jar

Whole Turmeric Root & Pepper

We steep fresh turmeric root whole, alongside jalapeño and black peppercorn, the traditional pairing in fire cider for generations.

In the glass: pepper heat carries turmeric's deep, earthy bitterness through every spoonful, so the blend tastes layered instead of muddy.

Raw Crushed Garlic

When raw garlic is crushed it releases allicin, the sharp, unmistakable bite garlic is famous for.

In the jar: we crush and steep it immediately in raw apple cider vinegar, so that pungency lands in the bottle at full strength instead of fading on a shelf.

Raw ACV With The Mother

Commercial shots often use pasteurized, filtered vinegar. Flare is built purely on raw apple cider vinegar that still contains the living culture known as the "mother".

In the jar: it's tangy, cloudy, and alive. That's the backbone every other ingredient steeps into, and why the label says shake well.

Heat, Not Caffeine

There is no caffeine in Flare. The wake-up is the heat itself: fresh jalapeño steeped until every spoonful carries it.

In the glass: a warmth you feel the moment it hits, and nothing to pay back at 2 PM.

Fiery Punch, Real Flavor

Most tonics are a chore to drink. We slow-steep until the heat, the citrus, and the herbs actually balance.

The taste: fresh lemon, ginger root, whole cloves, rosemary, and star anise. Zesty first, warm after, and never flat.

Our Spark

It started as a daily morning ritual in our own kitchen. Mitch and I (Claudio) were looking for a clean, natural way to kickstart our mornings without the jittery coffee crashes and energy crashes that followed. We brewed our first batch of traditional fire cider, letting raw garlic, ginger, and turmeric steep in unfiltered apple cider vinegar for weeks.

When we drained it, we were absolutely blown away. Not just by the intense, fiery kick that instantly woke up our systems, but by how genuinely delicious, zesty, and invigorating it tasted. We started giving bottles to friends and family, and the response was consistently enthusiastic: people loved it.

What began as a simple, home-brewed health habit turned into a product people couldn't stop asking for. That was our spark of validation. We realized that people wanted more than just a chemical supplement, they wanted an authentic, bold, small-batch tonic that made them feel alive. We decided to register a partnership, source the finest ingredients, and bring Flare to farmers' markets and homes across Canada.
